Privacy Policy
Byrom Rose Construction (“we”, “us”) is a residential and commercial construction company based in Dallas, Texas. This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what we do with it. It applies to this website only. Information you share with us during a project is covered by the written agreement for that project.
What we collect
What you send us. The only place this site asks you for anything is the request a quote form. It asks for your name, email address, phone number, the area your property is in, the kind of work you have in mind, and anything you choose to write in the message. You decide what goes in it. We use it to reply to you and, if we go on to work together, to plan the job.
What your browser sends automatically. Like every website, this one is served by a hosting provider that keeps ordinary server logs: the IP address a request came from, the page requested, the time, and the browser type. We use those logs, if at all, to keep the site running and to investigate abuse. We do not use them to identify you.
What we do not collect. This site has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics script, no advertising pixel, and sets no tracking cookies of our own. We do not buy information about you from anyone.
Who else sees it
- Netlify hosts this site and receives the quote form submissions on our behalf. Netlify stores each submission until we delete it, and keeps the server logs described above. Netlify’s own privacy policy governs how it handles that data.
- Google Fonts supplies the two typefaces on this site. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google’s servers, which means Google receives your IP address and the usual request details. We do not receive anything from Google about you.
That is the full list. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires it or to protect our rights, our property, or someone’s safety.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests for as long as it takes to answer them and, where a conversation continues, for as long as it is useful to the project and to our records of it. If you ask us to delete your request and we have no ongoing work or legal reason to keep it, we will.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you from this site, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do any of those, use the contact form and say it is a privacy request. We will need enough detail to find your request and to be sure it is you asking.
Under Texas law, if you are a Texas resident you have the right to confirm whether we process your personal data, to access, correct and delete it, and to opt out of its sale or of targeted advertising. We do neither of those last two, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the rest of the list stands and the route is the same.
Because this site does no tracking, it does not respond to “Do Not Track” or similar browser signals. There is nothing for them to switch off.
Children
This site is for adults arranging construction work. It is not directed at anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, contact us and we will remove it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, so what you type in the form is encrypted on its way to us. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise that one is, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send.
Changes
If we change this policy we will change the effective date at the top of this page. A change that affects what we collect or how we use it will be described here, not slipped in.
